STORY:
While jellyfish don’t work in teams or form family units, they can sometimes be found in large groups known as blooms or swarms. These aggregations are often the result of environmental factors like water temperature, currents, or availability of food rather than coordinated group behavior. Jellyfish in a bloom may appear to be working together, but it’s more a matter of coincidental proximity rather than cooperative action.
